Question Bari Harbour raid, Italy, KG.54

Hallo all,
I’m looking for info about the crews of KG.54 which took part to the Bari Harbour (Italy) raid in October 1943.
Hope someone helps me

Many thanks in advance ,

Just noticed you are mentioning october 1943 as the date. As far as I know KG 54 did not attack Bari harbor in october. They did on december 2nd of that year.

Without logbooks or a War Diary, to find a full list of all crews is very hard unlike RAF where the F540 invariably lists everything you are after

You are right, I hoped war records still exist... or specialized books about KG54 history?

I have not found information about other crews who took part. Siegfried Radtke's KG 54 history was one my sources but it does not list participating crews.

You might find something in one of the following:

- Any crew Flugbücher which survive in private collections
- Allied interrogation reports on any KG 54 crew shot down later in the war and who mentioned their involvement
- The many files in the British National Archives which hold transcripts ("S.R.A. Reports") of secretly-recorded conversations between prisoners. This is where I got the brief recollection from a KG 76 airman.
