Re: Lt Hasso Muendel, 1/120
Hi Chris;
No idea here, possibly just icing or engine failure? I have noticed you often use ´English spelling´ of German names, rather than the (correct) German version. This leads sometimes to unnecissary confusion etc. Just a thought. 1621 Ju 88 D-1 A6+HH 1.(F)/120 (Luftflotte 5) OPS (F) missing (100%) unk location (mission to area of PLQ 06öst/4176) [in the Norwegian sea west of Norway] 22.02.1942 [The empty rubber lifeboat was found by ship M/R FRITHJOF WIESE at PLQ 06öst/4155 the next day <23.02.1942>] (F Lt. Re: Lt Hasso Muendel, 1/120
Ed: Thanks. Yes, the anglicized version (ue for umlaut u) is used because most British computers do not recognise such things! Chris
