Re: Ground Instruction Spitfires?
From the old "Harleyford" Spitfire book. I added 1 more. The ladies are from the Women's RAF Training Centre.
The practice dated to Jan.13 1921, to be marked "INSTR" with an Air Ministry number. A Snipe wore INSTR 16-M. Nick spitfire-m-numbers by Nicholas King, on Flickr |

Re: Ground Instruction Spitfires?
Alex there are more complete lists in the Morgan / Shacklady Spitfire book under each Mark for those relegated to instruction.
