Do 17 Reference & WNr.

I'm looking for a good reference on the development and use of the Do 17. Does such a book yet exist? Do any books list this type's WNr.range. Is 25xx an appropriate WNr. series for the Do 17; might there be history for WNr. 2547?

As always, thank you to those who reply.

r/Steve

My first source say North sea, the loss data from Bama is Planquadrat 0070, (it's zone on a Lw map "in mercator projection")

Re: Do 17 Reference & WNr.

It could be the Do17P of 1.F120, gerammt v. Ju86 on 16 april, but noted as slightly damaged 15 % only is your picture showing more damages ??
In stavanger too on 11 april we hv one Do17P taxiing-damaged 45 % 1.F120, nd for 3.F120 another Do17P 100 %, thru Flak, but seems to hv fell-down westward the airport

Re: Do 17 Reference & WNr.

My mistake, I know that T5 is code for Auf.gr. first of the row /F120-121-122-123-124/ but I forgot the auf.gr. OBDL or F100, so your bird is the one, it could be, destroyed by brit. bombs on 24.april in Stavanger, the small problem is that this one is a Do215, so roughly a Do17 with liquid-cooled engines...

Remi

I don't think that F100 as anything other than Do215 or He111
