Manna Drop zones - May 1945
Hi,
Can anyone please tell me where exactly Gouda, 1, 2 and 3 were located. Also Delft, was there more than one drop zone. TIA Steve

Re: Manna Drop zones - May 1945
It's likely that just former airfield Ypenburg is referred to as 'Delft'. This was a bit north of this town.
As for equally close by The Hague (Den Haag), the Duindigt horse racing track at Wassenaar was used. Regards, Leendert |

For 'Gouda' there was at least one field at Moordrecht, on the SW side of Gouda.

Also found Zevenhuizen (Moerkapelle) as a likely indication for 'Gouda'. This village is west of Gouda.

Re: Manna Drop zones - May 1945
The third dropzone in the Gouda vicinity was a field in the Achterof en de Putte polder between Waddinxveen and Boskoop, to the NW of Gouda.
