Manna Drop zones - May 1945

Hi,

Can anyone please tell me where exactly Gouda, 1, 2 and 3 were located. Also Delft, was there more than one drop zone.

TIA

Steve

It's likely that just former airfield Ypenburg is referred to as 'Delft'. This was a bit north of this town.
As for equally close by The Hague (Den Haag), the Duindigt horse racing track at Wassenaar was used.

For 'Gouda' there was at least one field at Moordrecht, on the SW side of Gouda.

Also found Zevenhuizen (Moerkapelle) as a likely indication for 'Gouda'. This village is west of Gouda.

The third dropzone in the Gouda vicinity was a field in the Achterof en de Putte polder between Waddinxveen and Boskoop, to the NW of Gouda.
