![]() Hello ,
On November 20, 1943, Spitfire IXB JK762 from No. 485 Squadron crashed near Eernegem, Belgium, after a mid-air collision with another Spitfire. The pilot was Flying Officer Baker Ronald Lavender (service number 391337, RNZAF), who was killed in action. He was born on March 29, 1920, in Netherne, Surrey, England. Was this man also known as Reg Baker within the squadron? Thank you in advance for your help. Alain57 |

Re: F/O Baker Ronald Lavender 485Sqn
"Reg" Baker must have been Reginald William Baker (NZ401748).
