there are supposed to be documents from the leitenden ingenieur beim general der luftwaffe in norway dating back to 1945 – does anyone know where these files are located?

Hi Jim,

There are actually several relevant documents in the Bundesarchiv that I’ve previously asked them to digitise - most notably RL 9/45, RL 9/46, and RL 9/51, which should be of interest.

In addition, there’s also a substantial file in the Norwegian archives that you can access here:

RL 9/239: Technische Ausrüstung der Fernaufklärungs- und Nachtjagdverbände in Norwegen (März 1945)

@hans: many thanks - that´s exactly what i have been looking for. is there more luftwaffe-relating stuff in the norwegean archive? it's not really easy to find it via their homepage...

RL 9/239 (from memory) contains a report about technical problems with Ju88s transferred to Norway in poor condition. The file was formerly catalogued under RL 10/710.
