Adj Maurice ROMEY GCIII/2 1940

Hi guys

I understand that Adj Romey erroneously shot down a Belgian Fox in May 1940. Can anyone provide detail, please?

Cheers
Brian

Hi,

12.05.40 around 13.00 GCIII/2 S/Lt Bardin,Adj.Romey, S/Lt.Dartevelle and one pilot from the GCIII/7 Adj.Boyer or S/C Morlot claimed a Hs 126 in the Huy (BEL) area. In fact they downed Fairey Fox O-187 from the 7/III/3 Ae manned by Sgt.Mot and Lt.Lefevre (crashed by Forceilles).

Thanks Robert - much appreciated. Do you by chance have first names for any of the aircrew, French and Belgian, mentioned?

Cheers
Brian
