I believe that the following websites show two of the aircraft that you are looking for

4.11.1942 www.luftwaffe.cz/schroer.html Entry 60
2.1.1943 www.luftwaffe.cz/grasser.html Entry 99

Kind regards

Ross

You need to see the books "Fighters Over the Desert" and "Fighters over Tunisa". They are somewhat dated but, are still usefull.

Re: B-24 losses over North Africa and Tunisia

Hello Robert,

Havve you any more info on the aircraft that were shot down on the dates you note as from the thread Of mine on page seven has all losses of B24's as far as I can find. Hence the question I put as to what other type was it that was shot down if not B24's. Yes there were claims but what were losses ?

Alex

Re: B-24 losses over North Africa and Tunisia

Hi Alex,

I contacted the 98th BGr historian about the 04.11.42 action. Unfortunately didn`t get any answer yet. It seems that some B-24 were only damaged but I want to confirm it.

Regards

Robert
