USAAF Reconnaissance camera
Looking for information, drawings, manuals, etc. regarding gun and reconnaissance cameras installed in american WW2 aircraft during combat in Europe.
Attached you'll find some pictures of a damaged aircraft part I found at the crashplace of a P38 of 49th Sqdn/14th FG in Austria. I believe that it was part of the cockpit. Any information would be apprechiated. Please not the information on the badges. For me that looks like for a reconnaissance camera. Nice regards, Kurtl |
