Luftwaffe Kriegstagebuch Open to All!

In the interest of historical research, I've published the Kriegstagebuch of a Flaktransportbatterie at the following link:

http://flaktraba.blogspot.com/

The diary runs from mid-May to early July 1940 and will be enlightening to anyone interested in the supply network of the Luftwaffe Bodenorganisation behind the front lines during the France campaign.

With best wishes,
Karl-Peter Penke

Re: Luftwaffe Kriegstagebuch Open to All!

Thank you, Karl-Peter, for making this Kriegstagbuch available to us. The supply and transportation systems are usually not of much interest to historians, but the battle units would not have gone anywhere if the supplies and the auxiliary units, like Flak, hadn't reached them.

All the very best, and again, Thank you,
George Hopp

Re: Luftwaffe Kriegstagebuch Open to All!

Good evening Mr.Karl-Peter,
Thanks for publishing this KTB from Flak !
May I ask you if you have any info about Flak-units stationed in Belgium during WWII?
I asked this already on a German site without results...
I'm especially interested in the Flak-units around Gent (East-Flandern, Belgium) around july 1943.
No one could give me a kind of a Order of battle , organogram, map, Stabskarte , drawing or something to help.
They only answered that Flak-units existed in all the weapons: Heer, Marine etc...
Maybe you know something more ?
Thanks in advance and pls keep on publishing...!
Fred

Re: Luftwaffe Kriegstagebuch Open to All!

Hi,
Have you tried Michael Holm's website? These links would be the relevant pages for Belgium:
