hi,
i´m looking for further information on ju 86 with the wnr. 5063. is there any data? i´ve got a metal-plate with numbers on it, that might be something out of a repair-shop for this ju 86.
thanks in advance
jim

Hi Jim,
Ju 86 E-1 built by ATG Flugzeugwerke Leipzig Mockau. CO+BG crashed on 04. Apr 1944 at Prague-Ruzin with FFS(B)33. Damage 100%. Pilot error.

Hope this helps,

Norbert

Re: unknown wnr.?

Jim,

I've sent you a private note with my e-mail adress since I'd be intersted in seeing a scan/photo of the plate - then I might be able to come up with more information on it.

According to the information I have it was an E-2 and not E-1 (difference is rather negligable though). It served also with BFS 6 and FFS C 3.

/Mike

Re: unknown wnr.?

hi,
thanks for all your infomation. this plate is selfmade from a piece of metal with the numbers 86 and 5063 on it. my idea was, that this plate was made for repairing some parts of wnr 5063...
regards
jim
