4.(H)/12

4.(H)/12 had 12 He 46 on 1/9/39. What losses did the unit suffer in 1939?

Thanks,

Neil

Re: 4.(H)/12

Other units operating the He 46 in 1939 were:

4.(H)/31
4.(H)/23
5.(H)/13
3.(H)/12
4.(H)/13
1.(H)/11
3.(H)/31
2.(H)/23

Did of these units record losses of He 46s in 1939?

Thanks,

Neil

Re: 4.(H)/12

Neil,

I am working at the fourth part of my book at the moment - Poland 1939 reconaissance (F), (H), naval units and transports. Still a lot of work, but already I can tell you that much more units flew the older types He 46 and even the He 45!

Best regards,
Marius

Marius
What is the subject and scope of your work? What is the intended format? ( Photo vs primarily text) Any estimate of when it will be published?

Re: 4.(H)/12

It is the fourth part of my series about the Luftwaffe in Polish campaign 1939. But I write it for our Polish readers. The German or English language version will eventually come later.
I think the Polish book will be published in 2008. And then we will see...

Marius

Re: 4.(H)/12

Hi All,
I guess no "known losses" would be more precise. My source are the BA loss reports and there are none listed.

Regards,

Norbert
