New on the web...

The latest updates to the Ghostbombers website http://www.ghostbombers.com/updates.html include:
  • My translation of the Stab/JG 77 KTB for July 1944
  • A tribute to NSG 9 veteran Willy Ferling who died in 2006
  • New details of a Ju 87 of NSG 9 that was damaged on 25 December 1944
  • A link to a new photo of an Fw 190 of NSG 9

I'm still working on an extensive set of corrections and additions to the site's article on the Luftwaffe versus Operation Dragoon.

Could you read the WNr on the Fw 190? I almost can, but not clearly.

No, I tried though! Oddly, the aircraft was included in the field intelligence report but not the WNr. - and it must have been clear to anyone inspection the aircraft.

W. Nr. on this Fw 190 F-8, "E8+EH" was 584 562.
