Hi Guys

To me this looks more like a Hs 122, but can anyone advise why the register is D-Ixxx and not D-Uxxx as shown on all other photos?

AFAIK, these images probably were the same subject of a post on 24 May 2005.

At any rate, this should be the Spit Mk.Vb AD203 of 234 Sqn, hit by flak near Cherbourg and force-landed at Ile Pelée on 20-10-41 with Sgt. Fox missing.

Hope this helps (thanks Ed, for the great work!)

It could had made diet and change weight category
