Questions about Hptm Baetcher StKap 1./KG100 40-41

Hello,

Does anyone know when Hans Georg Baetcher joined KG100, when he was promoted to St Kap of 1./KG100, and what happened to him? In German, is his name spelled with an umlaut over the "a" in his last name?

Thanx,

Thanx,
According to the KG 100 book by Ulf Bake, Olt/Hptm. Hansgeorg Bätcher was StKptn. of first Staffel from 15.07.41 to 28.07.43. Becoming GrpKdr. 28.07.43 to21.10.43!

Thanks guys,

Does the KGr100 book list the StKaps of the unit through 1940? Who was the StKap of 1 Staffel in 1940?

Thanx

Re: Questions about Hptm Baetcher StKap 1./KG100 40-41

Hptm. Hermann Schmidt 1.8.38 - 15.7.41
Oblt./Hptm. Hansgeorg Bätcher 15.7.41 - 28.7.43

BTW the date of crashlanding from earlier post in which Casimir was involved is given as 29.5.40 in the book (during mission against Skaanland airfield).

regards,
Pawel
