I found two losses at this date:
27.03.45 - Lt. Weihs from 3./JG 7 survived (no crash place given)
28.03.45 - Ofw. Lübkin from 11./JG 7 KIA (Me 262 Wk.Nr. 111541 destroyed by B-17 explosion near Dresden)

Maybe u're right, I use "Me 262 Schwalbe Vol.2" by S. Fleischer & M. Ryś from Aj-Press Aircraft Monographs series No. 31 (1997), so my source could be outdated.

Do u know Weihs' a/c Werk Nummer?

The location, between Gießen and Wetzlar, was where American troops (7th Armored Div., I think) were pushing forward so it's possible that you should be looking at a recon unit or KG 51, rather than a fighter outfit.

Me 262 Operations about 27. + 28 + March 45

Hello guys

I have Leutnant Hans-Dieter "Hadi" Weihs (9 victories) as flying Me 262 A-1a (W.Nr. 500 224) when he collided with Oberleutnant Hans "Dackel" Waldmann (134 victories, RK), Staffelkapitän of 3./JG 7, who was flying Me 262 A-1a "Yellow 3" (W.Nr. 170 097) and killed on 18 March 1945. Any comments or corrections are welcome.

Horrido!

Leo
