While you're at all at, can I please have the serial of ME.G? 488(NZ) IIRC, for my wife would quite like a model Mosquito with her name on it. (Yes, I already have M.EG, thank you.)

Ian Piper's 605 mentions UP-H MM429 and UP-T RS678. No mention of UP-N.
Not much!?

Re: MOSQUITO Serial numbers/letters 1944

Hi Brian - I'd be very interested in finding out the code letters for 219's Mk XXX Mosquito MM792 if you ever come across them. This a/c was flown by W/C Peter Green/Doug Oxby, and was involved in a long list of interceptions and night combats. By March 1945 it had been involved in the destruction of eight enemy aircraft ! Any info appreciated. Cheers Brian, Richard O.

Re: MOSQUITO Serial numbers/letters 1944

Hi Richard

Nice to hear from you. I will of course keep my eye open for any such detail. Incidentally, you may be aware that I am nearing completion of a book dealing with the Diver campaign against England in 1944-45. I am aware that your father was involved in shooting down several - has he any reminiscences of these sorties?

Cheers
Brian
