JU52 from KGzbv 105, Kiel-Holtenau missing on 16.04.1940

Dear members,

A JU52 from KGzbv. (Kiel-Holtenau) was missing on tuesd.16.04.1940.
I wonder what markings did it have ??

Anyway I have the names on at least 4 persons that were on board this plane. It crashed in the sea south of Oslo.
I have also managed to get the weatherreports from this day.
Gosh those guys had major problems with the weather this day......

MfG.

THis one is not in the Gen.verl.meldung, I hv it in a doc where are shown the missing personel but only three are liste Maisch+Kohl+Poplow, but no evidence that they hv been lost in a plane, maybe vessel transfer..or wrong unit listed, a JU52 was lost at the same day by the KGzbv 1

Hi Remi,

I have many evidents that Maisch+Kohl+Poplow indeed were on board this JU52. The bodies were never found. Anyway there were minimum 4 persons on board.
It seems to be a tricky one to find out the markings on this plane.
Anyway thanks Remi :-))

We know that the JU52 with the crew that crashed in the sea belonged to KGzbV 105.
The unit KGzbV 1 is unknown to me.
