263 Squadron Typhoon claims

Hi,

Anyone know if any air-to-air claims were made by 263 Squadron Typhoon pilots?

Any help appreciated.

According to 'The Typhoon and Tempest Story' ISBN 0-85368-878-8 on 12-2-44 Do 217 near Gael ( U5+GL of 3/KG 2 - 6 men baled out 2 inj. 1 killed), 13-2-44 Bf 109 N/W Chartres, 31-3-1944 Me 410 over Morlaix, 18-4-1944 Me 410 south of Bretigny, 18-4-1944 Do 217 shared by four pilots N/W Villaroche ( Ulf Balke does not record one in his KG 2 book but on 19th. he shows a Ju 188 of 11/KG 2 making an emergeny landing S/W of Melun after being attacked by enemy fighters with two killed and two injured ). The Ju 188 E-1 on the 19th was U5+BV of 11/KG2 w.n. 260211 Ff. Fw Hermann Werrenmeyer +, B Gef. Hubert Patalong inj., Bf Gef Werner Michalski +, Bs Ogef. Rudi Vogel inj. Source - Der Luft Krieg in Europa teil 2 by Ulf Balke.

Brian missed the last one on the list - an Me262 on 26 April 1945, shared by 3 pilots.

I have the Form F for 263 Sqn for 18 Apr 44 and for interest:
1614 hrs-Me 410 destroyed SE Bretigny FS J Thould (crash-landed but blew up)
1617 hrs-Do 217 K-2 destroyed east of Villneuve Flt Lt Rutter/Fg Off J H Purkiss/Plt Off F Green/FS W A Handley (dived vertically from 500 feet)
1622 hrs-He 111 damaged on the ground by FS W A Handley (between Chartres & Paris).
I also have the composite Report for Rodeo 82 (Bf 109 near Chartres 1625 hrs by Sqn Ldr Warnes)
