Geneology research site
If the following is inappropriate, please remove. A site called ancestry.com has just added millions of military records which will be searchable for free until June 6 (D-Day). I tried visiting the site but it was not accessible, then it was accessible. No doubt a bit overloaded. Apparently, it includes those from countries other than the US.

Re: Geneology research site
Ed,
I have been a paying member for some time now, searching the records for traces of Danish pilots and aircrew. As many of these people were sailors before the war and/or trained in Canada, I have found much information here, that I would not have been able to find as easily elsewhere. As for military records my experience is that the site includes only U.S. records, but I may be wrong. Mikkel Plannthin
