Identity of 1./KG51 He111 9K+IH Force Landed 1940
Hello,
I'm trying to code some photos of a He111 of 1./KG51 coded 9K+IH that appears to have force landed in good condition in France or the Low Countries during the Western Campaign of the spring of 1940. One photo is dated May, 1940, on the back, with a location that looks like "Horberville," or something like that. Can anyone identify this incident? Thanx. |

Hi Larry,
perhaps it could be Herbeuville (55210) some 20 km SE Verdun? Regards Robert |
