FW 190 possibly 'Gelbe 3'

Hi, guys.

Does anyone know if a captured enemy aircraft report exist on this one?

I am not an FW 190 expert, but is the small DH stencilled in front of the fuselage Balkenkreuz the first two letters of the Stammkennzeichen??

I have taken the liberty to flip the scan as it was undoubtedly processed mirrored:

Regards,
Andreas

Hi Andreas,

Though I have no idea about a captured enemy a/c report of this a/c, a repro photo taken from the other side has sometimes listed on eBay.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=2294901159

The last 2 letters of Stammkennzeichen cannot read from the listing but the fuselage band seemed to be in yellow and therefore "3" might be in another colour (red/blue/green).

Regards,

hikki

Dennis Peschier is an unknown quantity at this point
The Auxere repair center accepted a Fw190A-3, WNr.0130233 with the stammenkentzeigen DH+CH on 29-5-1943. Perhaps this one is related.

Hope this helps,
Dennis.

Location was probably Köthen, tactical code red blue green

Hi,

according to the text associated with the second photo, it is probable that this aircraft was captured at Köthen.

Regards,
Andreas
