Dakota Chapel ?

Hello,

O.K, so where did I see a photo of a Dakota on wheels being used as a Chapel ?

It was with a French Squadron (have this picture).

But later was used by another RAF Squadron (photo I'm seeking).

My memory draws me to "Fly Past" but if so which issue ?

Please, and were there others used for the same purpose by other Squadrons ?

Alex

Re: Dakota Chapel ?

Alex,
Bulletin Air War #287, June/July 2007 happens to have an article (in Dutch) on R.C. Padre Vorage and his C-47/Dakota hull mounted on a Hotchkiss truck.
Bulletin is the magazine of Dutch air war researchers.

Re: Dakota Chapel ?

Hello Paul,
Thanks for the info but that isn't where I read about it.
If you could scan and send me a copy of the article I would be pleased.
