Re: Night Fighter Hubatsch
Hi Betty ,
Here some information on Feldwebel Werner Hubatsch : He flew as a nightfighterpilot with Nagjagdgeschwader 1,5 and 6. He claimed as far as i know three aircaft. 17/06/1943 5./NJG5 Lancaster at 01.51 hrs near Vorst-Laakdal in Belgium. 26/06/43 5./NJG 5 Stirling 2km east off Kalenborn Germany 04/07/1943 5./NJG 5 Stirling at 01.46 hrs near Wintersheid Germany. When he shot down the Lancaster in Belgium his radio-operator was Uffz Ulbrig. It seems that he was wounded on september 1944. I hope this info will help you a little bit. Greetings Alain |
