ORBs of the LUFTWAFFE
It's a pleasure to search for (and receive) ORBs in the National Archives.
Is it possible to do something similar in Germany with the Luftwaffe? Second question: anyone has informations (more or less what you find in the ORB), German side, about the air combats in North Africa related to the following claims? 1 04.12.41Ofw. Re: ORBs of the LUFTWAFFE
The German equivalent of the ORB is a KTB. Most of them were destroyed at the end of the war, but the German archives in Freiburg have an online database listing what remains in their possession. I'm afraid I didn't remember the website right now.
About the above the old book "Fighters over the desert" by Chris Shores will be useful but is now very rare, maybe you can find it in a library. |

Re: ORBs of the LUFTWAFFE
Thanks for the help.
I'm a lucky owner of FOTD, but I'm looking for something more... if possible. |
