KG76 24th August 1940
Hi,
I'm trying to confirm the loss details for four Ju 88 from KG76 shot down over Manston/Ramsgate on 24th August 1940. The detail I have at the moment is sketchy: Stab II/KG76 Possibly shot down by AA fire. Major Moricke Crashed into the sea. Fw Vetter 4/KG76 Crashed into the sea. Lt Grell Crashed into the sea. Uffz Dubs. Expansion of full crews, Radio Codes, werk no. etc would be great as well as any better suggestion of crash positions than Channel. Regards Ross |

You will find more crew details in The Battle of Britain Then & Now (1980) p596/7. |
