Fate of Nikolai A. Bobin?
I know that Nikolai Alexeyevich Bobin (HSU) 7 APDD died on the night of 15May43. Can anyone advise the target he bombed and the airfield that he crashed at with his Li-2 before he died?
Thanks, Michael |

Re: Fate of Nikolai A. Bobin?
Ross, Thanks I read that site. I was trying to figure out if Bobin was one of the planes shot down by Lt Josef Kociok of ZG1 on the 15May43 but the time of his claim and the time of the attack shown by the VVS were way off. I was looking at Kociok time to be eastern European compared to Moscow time. Eugen Gross indicated that it might be Berlin time which puts the attack about into the right time period.
Thanks, Michael |
