Re: Lt Robert S Shermann 334FS 9. May 1944

Peglar,

This would have been in P-51B 43-7002 QP-D "The Mighty Mite".
Picture of Sherman on littlefriends.co.uk under 4th FG.

Location of crash should read Thieblemont between Vitry and St. Dizier?

Lt Robert S. Sherman (O-695009) was held in Stalag Luft 1.

Regards,

Leendert
