Missing airfields

Using the map from http://www.lesbutler.ip3.co.uk/jg26/basemaps.htm and the bases listed for JGs at http://www.ww2.dk/ I found that not all airfields were on the map.

Were minor airfields and/or satellite airfields left off the map?

For example, Kreuzstrasse/Klein-Karolinenfeld and Prein am Chiemsee NE of Bad Aibling.

Yes, the following categories were often omitted from maps if they only existed for a short time:

Ausweichflugplätze (dispersal airfields)
Einsatzhäfen (operational airfields)
Feldflugplätze (advanced airfields)
Landeplätze (landing fields or landing grounds)
Übungsflugplätze (practice or training airfields)
Winterflugplätze (winter airfields)

When you think of "airfields" for fighters, dive-bombers and ground attack aircraft in active front areas, think of little more than pasture land and farm fields as the Staffeln moved forward to keep up with the advance. In the case of the two you cited, both of which were in the Reich, they were probably just emergency dispersal airfields that were only used briefly (if at all) in the last weeks of the war and had no permanent infrastructure. Klein-Karolinenfeld (29.2 km SSE of München) was assigned code designators 1561, 7388 and 9543, while Prien (65.5 km SE of München) used 1299, 7650 and 9281.

Yes the 2 I mentioned were used in the last couple of weeks of the European war.
