I suppose all the documents are on standard format, so it should be fairly easy to scan them with an automatic documents' scanner.
Regarding documents, they are not copyrighted, and only possible copyright goes to the men who copied the stuff. If WASt is going to be pissed, it is just only their problem. The same concerning NOK, I do not think that there are any parents still alive, and that the addresses are valid, it is 70 years since the events.
PS Presence of Marius Emmerling in your team just excludes any possibility of cooperation on the Polish Campaign subject, sorry. I have informed friends about this.
