Re: I./JG 53 May 1942

Lucky days for I.JG53 no one, just on 31.may 42

3.JG53 F Kursk Bombenwurf BF109F-4 10340 100%

But 4 men dead by this action, 4 pilots

Mayer josef uffz f
Opitz reinhold uffz f
Padier udo oblt f
Tödtmann wilhelm uffz f

Nothing to do with Leo Potjans ??

Thanks for help. So, does it mean that I./JG 53 suffered also no combat loss?

Best

Remi, no, it does not have any connection with Potjans Only just my interest in transfer flight from Germany to the Eastern Front.

Re: I./JG 53 May 1942

Right Tomi, bad interpretation of a bad writing, 10240 seems better, no clues with the transit units for losses hv you a location Michal ??

but at that time seems no special units to hv that task , could one give some info on who was transfering the planes to the front units at that time
