Halifax HR839
Hello ,i am looking for any information about the Halifax HR839 from the 51 Sqn RAF
The plane crashed in Olen (Belgium) in the night of 28/06/43 and 29/06/43,it was shot down by night-fighter Lt Gunter Franz 5./NJG1 Crewmembers are P/O Tay (kia) Sgt Eldrige (evd) Sgt Smith (kia) Sgt Redshaw (kia) P/O Houlston (kia) Sgt Butler (kia) Sgt Vidal RCAF (kia) P/O Popley (pow) I am looking for pictures of the crew and the plane,also pictures of Gunter Franz We are digging on the crashsite and next year we are gonne place a monument on the crashsite,so any information wil be very nice
