There was no 334th FG in Combat.
334th BG: B - 25 Replacement Training , U.S.
334th Sq. , 4th FG - Lt. Martone not listed
334th Sq. , 95th BG -

Lt Martone flew P-40s with the 324thFG - that's the one I'm after.

Brian,

2ndLt Arthur E Martone flew P-40 #80 on Jan 28, 1944 when he claimed an FW-190 at 0745 off Nettuno beach, F-7632. He was with the 316th FS of the 324th FG. It is his only claim. Service # O799212.

Lt Arthur Martone is mentioned on www.wwiimemorial.com as well.

Hometown Spring Lake Heights, NJ. Awarded two Presidential Unit Citations and the French Croix de Guerre with palm.
