Location in Greece sought

I am looking for a place in Greece pronounced Cliffayda or similar. This could have been in Athens or the area.
Thanks

No idea. This was remembered by a son of an airman, who was stationed on Greece for a period.

Re: Location in Greece sought

The correct spelling is Glyfada and it is situated at the south coast of the Athens. Near Glyfada there was a airfield called Ellinikon or Kalamaki or Hassani. This was also the main airfield of the city of Athens until the late 90's.

Thanks, that is it! Hellenikon or Hellinikon (I am a bit lost with various spellings) was also an important NATO airfield. I suppose there are not too many photos from the airfield in 1950s.
