A-26 sn.(4)322380 crash near Bree, Belgium

Who can help out?
I received a picture of a crashed A-26 Invader. The picture was taken at Opitter, near Bree in Belgium and is dated March, 21th 1945. You can see the sn (4)322380 but I cannot get any confirmation about the plane or place.

Good morning Karel & Alain !

This a/c is listed as salvaged, not battle damaged by the 43rd Air Depot Group. The registration by this organisation is dated 5 April 1945.

By the markings, it seems to be a 386th BG ship.

Best regards !

Hello Horst ,

I had the same idea , 386BG was flying at that moment from A-92 St-Trond in Belgium who is not so far from Bree.
Strange enough i find no trace of the a/c in the USAAF Overseas accident list ?
Alain

I'm not sure about the date, the guy who gave me the picture thinks it is the exact date but has no hard evidence. Are there any lists of planes, stationed at St Trond.(Brustem)?

If Waremme is the place the plane crashed, I don't think it's the plane I'm looking for. The crash-site is Opitter, a small village near Bree in Limburg, Belgium. Waremme is about 60 km away. Also the registrationnr is incorrect. I'm searching for (4)322380.
