Loss He111 P4 WkNr.2954 - 5./KG55

Bonjour,

I am looking for information about the loss on March 17, 1941 of He-111 P4 WkNr2954 belonging to 5./KG55. Two killed in the aircrew: Uffz. Hans Ziegler, pilot and Uffz. Hans Czapp, flight engineer. Crashed on takeoff or loss onto England?

Best regards,
Frederic

The Luft. QM's returns has this one as 'H' Fl.Pl. Avord Aufschlagbrand 100%. So its a non-operational flight,

Hello Brian,

Thanks a lot / Merci beaucoup for your response.
A last question; Is the complete aircrew known?

Regards,
Frederic

Bonjour Frederic,

Only those two crewmen shown so the rest of the crew would be unhurt and unmentioned. I had a look in the KG55 book but no more information there,

Regards
