He 111 H-2, Werknr. 5509, A1+LN

Gentlemen,

I recently got in contact with a relative of Alfred Achstaller, a crewmember of He 111 H-2, Werknr. 5509, A1+LN, disintegrated on 15./16.11.1940 over Shropshire.

"The Blitz Then and Now" (Vol. 2) mentiones that parts of this a/c were recovered - are they still locateable?

Thank you very much in advance

Heuser
