AGAIN, an unknown pilot to me. I do know he flew earlier on NJG 1 and was later transferred to JG 1.
Would need more details about birth place and date; final score; any details IF he was lost in combat ( acft werknummer, codes and date ) to cross-check with Allied claims.
ANYTHING about his File would be welcomed, though.

Gerhardt flew with 10.(N)/JG 26, then probably with 12.(N)/JG 2, 1./JG 1 (last claim with this unit 17 Feb 42), 5./JG 26 (first claim with this unit 24 Mar 42). MIA 19 Aug 42 (still with 5./JG 26)

Made 13 claims.

Hi,

Gerhardt was killed in combat with enemy fighters over the beachhead during the Dieppe raid in FW 190 A-3 W.Nr. 0130 538, Black 3+ -. IIRC, there is a photo of this machine in Caldwell´s JG 26 War Diary.
