New picture of Bf 109 G-14/AS "Black 4", Falconara

Hi there folks,

Just found those unknown to me pictures of Bf 109 G-14/AS "Black 4", 15. (Kroat)/ JG 52, flown by defecting Vladimir Sandtner who landed at Falconara, 16 April 1945.

Good images but there is few similar to this ones. Text on the engines cowling is specific for this G-14.

Cheers

Hi Marc!

Thank you for the additional pics!

Any idea about the text on the cowling? I have done a colour profile of that plane but can't finish it as I don't know the text.

Hallo Simon,

Beyond counting a staggering 7 lines (!) on picture 43, the resolution is not high enough to catch any wording... Sorry! Maybe Ferdinando could help you along?

Your profile is by the way great! Any indication of this machine W.Nr.?

Cheers

I already had that pictures and also tried to contribute several months ago to Simon's artwork here: http://www.luftwaffe-experten.org/fo...61&#entry53861

Hope this helps
