|
78 IAP victories on 24 October 1944
According to the site Nordic Aviation during WWII, the two German aircraft lost on this date in Northern Norway (a Ju88 and a Fw190) were shot down by the 78 IAP.
I'm searching the details of these actions on the Soviet side. Thanks in advance Laurent

The Fw 190F-8 WNr 580694 of 13./JG 5 shot down 24.10.44 near Berlevaag in Norway was claimed by P-40 (Cpt. Zakharov) of 78. IAP VVS SF. But the Ju 88D-1 WNr 430813 of 1.(F)/124 was shot down by P-39 of 2. gvIAP VVS SF (SLt. Zapalenov).
