Help! French P-47 loss near Darmstadt, Germany

Hallo all, sometime after WW2 a French P-47 was simulating a dogfight with a P-38, when the P-47 lost control and crashed into some woods near Darmstadt. The year could have been 1947, but no one knows for sure anymore. The pilot was killed in the crash. Does anyone have access to post-WW2 loss lists from the French Airforce? I am looking for data on pilot and aircraft. I have been to the crash site and this has been interesting me for years now. Thanks, Danny
