Operation Steinbock , 21/22 January 1944

Hello gentlemen,

Does some nice fellow could provide the definitive list of Luftwaffe losses that night ( Type , WkN , crews ...) ? That would be great.
I'm especially interested in the first wave , even costly before reaching England as no more than three bombers were lost near Rouen ( Normandy ) around 20h00 , probably due to failures. One of these could be a He177 with at least one casualty , described with a crew of seven (?). Another He177 was lost on the return flight , all killed aboard.

Thanks ,

Zorglub

All the losses for that night (and every raid of Steinbock) are covered in The Last Blitz with the data you require. I am not sure of copyright laws so I will refrain from posting scans I'm afraid.
