ORB Form 541 , 91 Sq , 20 Oct.1943

Hello gentlemen ,

If by chance a nice fellow has this document , I'm just looking for the pilots flying that day .

Also any chance to contact author Peter Hall who wrote the Nigeria Sq history ?

I can give you four names. S/L Kynaston, F/L Doll, F/L Nash and F/S Blumer. All made claims that day. Make that 5. Hall's book says F/O Davy shot up a train.

I don't have the ORB for that day, but I can share a photo of the Wing taken right after their best day

Taken October 30, 1943.

And if a nice fellow ( ex 41 or 91 Sq ) could identify most of the pictured pilots , that would be great !!
At least a bottle of champagne to the winner ...

Third from R could be F/O Ingram, 91 Sqn.

Actually 3rd from right is F/O Huntley. Still working on the others. Sadly I had more written down way back when but can't find it!

Not 100% sure, but I think the pilot second-from-left on the starboard wing is F/S RAB 'Red' Blumer (A411854); this is based on his pic on p93 of Osprey's 91 'Nigeria' Squadron.
