Which LW unit was based at Pinnow airfield on the beginning of 1940?
Hi,
I have a very simple question: which Luftwaffe unit was based at Pinnow airfield on the beginning of 1940? Was it KGzbV 1? Thanks! R |

Hi
I believe that FFS C6 with aircraft including Ju52 used Pinnow from mid January 1940. Ian Last edited by ianatheling; 12th December 2011 at 19:47. |

Thank you Ian. FFS C 6 was indeed one of the units based at this airfield. It looks like that III./KGzbV 1 aircraft were there too. Unfortunately I have no info on airfields used by this unit in late 1939/early 1940.
