Good evening Jerry !

This is a belly-landed B-17 of 379th BG along the Schweinfurt raid on October 14th, 1943. The MACR is 957. The a/c was shot up by German fighter planes during this mission and ended somewhere belly-landed. None of the 10-men crew was killed. The German files in my possession don't recognize this a/c, but the landing-place could be near Schweinfurt as well as somewhere in the Netherlands.

There are some more hi-res crash pictures on this site. Search for 42-29511 then click on the pictures. The German crash report on this plane was KU-372.
