Sgt Sodek, 258 sqn

Hello all,

from different sources including ORB, it is clear that Sgt. Jaroslav Sodek, 787426, Czech member of 258 sqn RAF was shot down in his Hurricane (N) on June 13, 1941 and forced landed at Hawkinge with Cat. 2 damage.

Who was a victor? Was it really A. Galland (Stab/JG 26) and was he in combat with 601 sqn Hurricanes later that day as well?.

Can anybody identify damaged Hurricane?

Kind regards.

David
