PR Spitfire pilot wounded 5 June 1940
Hi guys
Any ideas who the pilot was (212Sqn/PDU), and aircraft involved? Also, the unit had an armed Spitfire. Any ideas? Cheers Brian |

Hi Brian,
Have you got any details on the sortie? PDU flew 3 sorties and 212 Sqn 4 sorties on 05 Jun 40. Best Regards Andy Fletcher

Re: PR Spitfire pilot wounded 5 June 1940
Brian,
Kent was in France at this time so it seems likely it would have been a pilot of 212 Sqn who was wounded on 05 Jun 40. Regards an armed Spitfire, P9453 was a Type G and was used by 212 Sqn towards the end of the French Campaign. Hope that helps Cheers Andy Fletcher
