Springbok Fighter Victories - SAAF 1939-1945

I've read little about the SAAF but this page shows all 5 volumes in the series.

Re: Springbok Fighter Victories - SAAF 1939-1945

I actually just received volumes 3, 4 and 5 from them and have been informed that volume 6 is due to be published in the next few months. Should anyone be looking for this set the publisher only has 3, 4 and 5 in stock. I found volume 2 through Air Britain and volume 1 (which is now out of print) through a friend in South Africa. Volume 1 is very scarce to come across so best of luck to all who search for it. The quality of the publication is quite good with good reproduction of photos (many I have never seen before) and highly recommend to those with an interest in this subject.
Cheers,
Todd

Re: Springbok Fighter Victories - SAAF 1939-1945

This is an excellent series of books. I have the five that have been published so far, and will get volume 6 as soon as Air Britain offers it. I would also like to mention that the author is Michael Schoeman, of South Africa. Join Air Britain and get volumes 2 through 5 (and 6 when it appears) while they last. Or get volumes 3 through 5 from the publisher, Freeworld Publications (link in the first post). As noted, Volume 1 is very hard to find, and it has a very good list of the successful SAAF fighter pilots.

Enjoy!

Frank.
