Monterotondo, sept., 9th, 1943
Hello,
on Sept., 9th, 1943 the II/FJR 6 was dropped on Monterotondo (near Rome) to seize the High Command of the Regio Esercito. According to various sources 1-3 Ju52 were shot down by Italian AAA. I'd like to know how many Ju52 were shot down and of which unit they were part. Any help is appreciated Thanks in advance Fabrizio
